Static Curing Units
UVio CureBox
In general, formulations that are slow reacting (taking more than one second to cure) often require a longer exposure at lower irradiance. These types of formulations are most often used in
indexing types of operations – bonding with UV adhesives, for example. A cure chamber will allow you to formulate using long exposures and lower irradiance. Fast-reacting UV formulations are generally used in high speed continuous conveyor type operations, so a lab conveyor should be used to develop these formulations.
The CureBox static cure processor has been developed for R&D and low volume production applications. It provides variable exposures by utilising focus adjustment, a timer circuit and optional fast-acting shutter.
