LS Series UV Processors

The LS Series range of processors has been developed for industrial web and coil applications. Designed to accommodate Excelitas Noblelight UV 10” Lamps these processors can be built for a variety of widths and configurations.

The enclosed design was developed for harsh environments with the lamp modules housed behind quick release covers. The Lamp Cooling Air system can also be sealed behind a quartz plate, isolating the lamp from the production environment, controlling cleanliness and minimising maintenance.

The 1750mm wide version also features a split-frame processor design with two-stage Linear Slide arrangement:

When opened the operators have access to the web/coil for threading up, and also critically to the lamp face to enable them to carry out routine maintenance including cleaning or replacement of the quartz plate (if fitted), as well as the Lamp Screens, Bulbs and Reflectors – a valuable time saving feature as lamp module removal is no longer necessary for these tasks.

In addition the complete unit can be slid out of the web/coil path when UV coating is not in use. This enables the unit to be protected and remain clean during alternative process runs and reduces maintenance time when UV production is restarted again.

The Series Processors are also available with the UViNERT nitrogen inerting system using a compact quartz deflector plate and nitrogen delivery system.
