Developed for a specialist Medical application, this stand-alone web processor featured Excelitas Noblelight UV’s Light Hammer 6 System and an EIT Online Monitoring System.

The key process requirement was for consistent, precise UV and thermal control on to a heat sensitive substrate.

With this in mind, the LH6’s Variable Cooling function was used, resulting in consistent UV spectra even at very low UV power levels.

The design brief from the customer identified the need to retrofit a UV module into an existing line without incurring expensive alterations to clean room facilities or process control systems.

For this, UVio designed a machine module with integrated cooling system and Carbon Filter; eliminating the need for ductwork to the outside.

In addition an internally mounted panel takes care of Mains Power Distribution and all I/O contacts making for a simple, fast installation.
